After spending years traveling around the world, playing to US armed forces, they settled back down in their hometown of Houston, Texas. Now they have put together a collection of favorite old standards and a couple of original new songs like "Lying Dog Blues" by Monica and Tony, and what seems destined to be the first single release, "Club Soul City" written by a good friend and fellow Houstonian, Marie English.
The Blues Cruizers Band has been performing 150 to 250 nights a year for a long time and it is evident when you listen to this CD. Monica has a very strong vocal style and the musicians have over a "CENTURY" of collective professional experience. The musical delivery is undeniably Texas, and undoubtably performed by seasoned players. Get a copy and check it out for yourself!!!
